Needless to say, the entire India and especially fans of King Khan are eagerly waiting for his upcoming Bollywood flick “Fan” which is slated to release on April 15 this year. The film has captured the attention and interest of movie lovers with its awesome trailer and superhit song Jabra Fan after which it has become difficult for Shah Rukh fans to wait for its release; however, here we show you something which might decrease your curiosity and yearning for it.
What if we say that like many other Bollywood movies, “Fan” is also copied from a Hollywood film of the same name “The Fan” which was released in the year 1996? Yes, you read it right! “The Fan” is a story of a Baseball player and his mentally unstable fan who supports his favorite star to the limit of obsession and in fact, commits a murder just because the victim had an argument with his favorite player. Later, the Baseball player tells his fan that he has lost respect for all his fans on account of their fluctuating nature which changes as per his performance. This angered the fan and he kidnaps son of Baseball player which led to the game of chase between a star and his fan and the same you are going to watch in SRK starrer Fan.
However, there are lots of dissimilarities as well since in this movie, SRK has played himself both the roles, the star and the fan! But still the main plot of the story resembles to some extent!
