The wedding of his daughter Arathy with Dr. Adithya Vishu from Kochin was quite grand. His royal friends as well as multi-national businessmen flew from all across the globe to attend this wedding. He truly gave them an experience of ‘God’s own Country’.
Among those who attended the wedding were CEOs of different companies from Middle-east. This was a week-long wedding ceremony and several businessmen, actors and famous politicians too were seen at this wedding. Then, there were members from Bahrain’s royal family and other government officials from other countries.
The venue of the wedding was quite luxurious and was inspired by a Rajasthani palace. Sabu Cyril, the Art Director of popular movies like Baahubali and Ra One designed this set. The set was spread across 8 acres and was worth Rs.20 crore.
Apart from this big budget wedding, Dr. Ravi Pillai went on a charity-spree and went ahead for donating Rs.10 crore for humanitarian causes as part of pre-wedding celebrations.
