As we all know that 2.0 is the name given to Endhiran sequel in which Khiladi of B-Town, i.e., Akshay Kumar would be the villain. Lately production unit had an interview with IndiaGlitz where they disclosed more with regard to the Rajinikanth starrer movie in addition to telling its budget on a rough note.
Speaking of the budget, Lyca Productions has plans of spending about Rs. 350 crores and hence if we observe it from the factual perspective, 2.0 would break all the records, becoming the costliest film to be made in India. Here it was natural to ask whether the movie would recover the cost after release to which production house said that they were positive for it due to the presence of Rajini and Akshay.
What’s more, Amy Jackson will be the only female lead in 2.0, as confirmed by production unit, whereas Akshay has charged a whooping amount of Rs. 25 crores to play the role of villain. Academy Award Winner AR Rahaman will compose music while Rasool Pookutty would handle sound design. Besides, there will be a number of Hollywood technicians for choreographing action scenes. The movie is expected to be release by 2017.
