Scott Kelly is not just an ordinary person; he is the International Space Station Commander who has surpassed the American record for most time spent in space when he crossed the 383 days mark on 17th October 2015. At that moment he was travelling above the mountain ranges of Himalayas.
Scott Joseph Kelly was born on February 21, 1964; he is an US Navy captain, astronaut and an engineer and he is aiming to spend more than 500 days in the space. He is in space for an experiment for studying the effects of outer space in long term. This mission started in March 2015.
Scott has already made a lot of fans due to his passionate attitude and he has also planted the first crop of space lettuce. Last month he made use of his position to tweet unity with the victims of Paris attacks. Nearly 130 people died and several were left injured in the gruesome terrorist attack that took place on Paris in which terrorists targeted multiple locations for killing people.
