The highly anticipated films of 2024, “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” and “Singham Again” are both set to release during Diwali, sparking considerable attention. These third installments in their respective franchises have built large following, making the clash particularly significant.
Director Anees Bazmee has expressed that “Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3” will not shift its release date, a stance backed by T-Series. Historically, Diwali has seen many big-budget films go head-to-head but there is no confirmation if either film will alter its release plan this time around.
Recently during an interview when Anees Bazmee was asked if he talked to Ajay Devgn about the clash of their movies, Anees Bazmee questioned as to why he would call Ajay Devgn. He added that it is a business decision which needs to be addressed by producers and he is the director of the movie. Anees said that though they had announced the release date almost a year back, the “Singham” team still wants Diwali release, so what can be done in such a situation.
Anees Bazmee further said that clashes are never good but he also added that he has always maintained that a good movie doesn’t depend on date perform. He also said that he will be the last person to talk about release dates and box-office numbers as this is something which is discussed by producers and distributors.
Anees Bazmee went on to say that clashes don’t affect him, both the movies are looking good and both have the capability to perform well at the box-office. Anees concluded by saying that Ajay, Akshay and Rohit are good friends and they are sure that Anees will never call them to change the release date because he has never done that.
Kartik Aaryan leads the cast once again, continuing his role in the comedy horror franchise. Notably, Vidya Balan returns to the series, with Madhuri Dixit also joining the cast. Triptii Dimri will be Kartik’s co-star this time, adding a new dynamic to the story.
Directed by Rohit Shetty, “Singham Again” promises to bring more action and thrills. The film is headlined by Ajay Devgn but boasts an ensemble cast featuring Kareena Kapoor Khan, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, Arjun Kapoor, Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh, making it one of the biggest releases in recent memory.
Both the films are expected to create massive buzz and box office competition during the festive season.
