The final match of the T20 World Cup 2024 was played on 29 June 2024 between India and South Africa and the former won it but the Indian team managed to return India today (4 July) morning as they were stuck in Barbados because of a hurricane.
Today morning, the Indian team landed at New Delhi airport and then they checked in five star hotel ITC Maurya to take some rest before meeting the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The Indian star batter Virat Kohli who was adjudged as the Player of the Match in the final match is originally from Delhi, however now he stays in Mumbai after marriage with Anushka Sharma. Virat Kohli’s family came to meet him in the hotel, he met his siblings and their kids in the hotel and his sister shared the pics with the caption, “Celebrating the win SUPERPROUD”.
In the photo, Virat Kohli’s siblings and their kids were also seen wearing the medal and holding the prizes and Virat’s wife Anushka Sharma also reacted to the photos with a heart emoji.

After cutting the cake and having breakfast, the Indian team went to meet the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and then they flew to Mumbai where team India will go for an open bus parade before flying to their respective towns.
