Yesterday, Virat Kohli created history in the world of cricket by smashing his 35th ODI century. It was due to his stupendous performance that India won 5 matches out of 6 against South Africa.
With this, he even became the highest run-scorer in ODI bilateral series. Yes, he scored a whopping 558 runs & made India proud.
Our run-machine truly deserved to be the man of the match. But not only that, Kohli was also titled Man of The Series.
In the post match presentation, Kohli was asked about this record and without any second thought, he credited wife Anushka for the same. Since a long time, people were criticizing Anushka whenever Virat used to not give a good performance.
Shutting the mouths of all those trollers, Kohli attributed his success to Anushka’s support.
He said,
“Well, look it has been a rollercoaster tour till now. A lot is done off the field. I think people who contribute off the field, people that are close to me, they deserve a lot of credit as well. My wife has been keeping motivated throughout. She deserves a lot of credit for this.”
Kohli further said,
“She’s been criticised a lot in the past. But she’s one person who’s kept me going throughout the tour when the times have been tough and I am really grateful for that. So, it is all about being in a good zone and as I said, you need good people around you to keep you there.”

Kohli is the best husband ever; it’s rightly said that behind every successful man, there’s a woman and Virushka’s jodi has proved this true.
