An auction house based in Dallas stated that a rare copy of a comic that features the 1st appearance of Spider-Man was sold at a whooping price of Rs.3.12 crore. An anonymous collector purchased this comic book and Heritage Auctions states that this sale has set a record for a public auction price for a Spider-Man comic book.
Amazing Fantasy No.15’s 1962 edition got a near-mint grade and a score of 9.4 on the scale of 1 to 10. The comic book was brought by New York’s Walter Yakoboski for $1,200. He informed Associated Press last week that several rare comics were brought by him as an investment.
