Good habits like showing respect to the elders and taking care of them seem to have taken a backstage nowadays as everyone is busy with his/her own life and not concerned with others. A grandfather who has 6 grandkids had to go through the similar situation when he prepared dinner for his 6 grandchildren; however, he was lucky or unlucky, whatever you call him, to have only 1 caring grandkid who showed up to have dinner with him.
Kelsey Harmon who is from Oklahoma visited her grandfather on Thursday but the shocking part is that 5 other grandkids were also scheduled to visit the old man but none of them showed up.
She posted a photo of her grandfather on Twitter and wrote, “Dinner with papaw tonight…he made 12 burgers for all 6 grandkids and I’m the only one who showed. love him.”
The tweet went viral as the online users felt emotionally connected with the grandpa but were also sorry for him. Kelsey’s tweet was retweeted for more than 1,00,000 times and people from all around the globe showed their love and support for her Papaw.
