Our politicians can give each other a run for their money when it comes to making weird, illogical and disgusting statements. In the recent example, Atul Kumar Anjan, a communist leader has made a statement that the condom advertisements of Sunny Leone encourage rapes in the country. He made this statement while giving speech in a public rally in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh.
Atul Kumar Anjan said, “There is a woman Sunny Leone. She has worked in many nude films. There is an ad – she’s lying down and one man is coming to her. It’s a condom ad. If they are shown everywhere on TV and newspapers, rape incidents will increase.”
He also added, “These ads develop sexuality and destroys sensibility.” He told the public that he hasn’t watched a single porn movie in his whole life but when he tried to watch it for the first time, he “felt like vomiting after watching it for two minutes.”
This is just one example of the intelligence of our political leaders, earlier also we have witnessed such incidents. Once the Samajwadi Party Supremo Mulayam Singh Yadav said, “First girls develop friendship with boys. They when differences occur, they level rape charges. Boys will be boys, they commit mistakes. Will they be hanged for rape.”
Just recently he again made a statement, “four boys cannot rape a girl. It is impossible. One commits rape and then four more are named.”
The remark of Atul Anjan has not gone well with the Twitter users and they have expressed their opinions which are quite sarcastic and humorous.
