Few are the makers in the industry who choose to historical context and work on fact files for their movies. We’ve rarely come across various such movies that are based on real life incidents of terrorism and assassination. If we talk about Indian history is not just about its struggle for freedom but also various unfortunate and critical events that were caused due to corruption and terror ever since.
Magical Dreams Production brings us such kind of a true story that has never been brought to the big screen. “31st October”, starring Vir Das and Soha Ali Khan is a film that traces consequences post the assassination of then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi in 1984. Have a look at the trailer below:

What’s the truth and why did it happen?? Are the questions that will be answered here! Can’t wait for this one! Can you?
Here we see Vir and Soha portray a young Sikh couple who along with their two little boys are struggling to save their lives during the mass destruction that was a counteraction against the Sikh community in Delhi.
There’s also an interesting fact about the story that, prior to this A Punjabi movie titled “Kaum De Heere” highlighting the role/lives of two guards that assassinated Gandhi was set to be released on 22 August 2014, but was banned by the Indian government.
Strange isn’t it?? After the failure of such a brave attempt we hope “31st October” is able to stands out as a movie on the whole. What’s your thought on having such fact files on the big screen tell us in the comments section below.
