Can you imagine what students of the 3rd standard are being taught in the schools of Jodhpur in the Moral Science subject? You would never have thought that this could happen! They study that Asaram Bapu who is accused of rape charges and used to live a luxurious life is a “Great Saint” and has been compared to the really great ones like Vivekananda. Shocked?
It’s on the book entitled Naya Ujala’s page no. 40 that this hypocrite called Asaram Bapu has been introduced with many other noble and inspiring personalities, such as Maharishi Dayanand, Ramakrishna Paramhansa, Swami Vivekananda and Guru Nanak. Here a question on this book is natural; so let us tell you that it’s published by Gurukul Prakashan which is Delhi-based as well as claims that it’s based on Continuous & Comprehensive Evaluation guidelines of NCERT.
Nevertheless, according to an official of Jodhpur District Education, he didn’t know anything regarding it. As stated by Prabhu Lal Panwar to The Indian Express, District Education Officer, “There is no such information that we have. How can we act if there is no information?”
What is your opinion on this matter? Who should be blamed for it? If teachers are teaching this despite knowing all the things about Asaram, they are also guilty and an action should be taken against them too!!
