There are some beliefs that an individual rely on and needless to say one should not interrupt in between. Actors and other celebrities also believe is such rituals, and after all when something gives peace, why should one not opt for that possibility.
Recently, Sylvester Stallone’s family was in Hardiwar to perform the last rites of his son. In frequent times, Mr. Stallone has been imagining and seeing vision of his son who died because of drug overdose, which disturbed the family and the actor. The Actor’s son Sage died in 2012 at the age of 6, and the family thought that his soul is yet not free since it visited Stallone frequently , so they called up a Vedic Scholar from Rishikesh to come up with a resort to the situation. The family was advised to perform “Tithi Shradh” in Haridwar, to make his son’s soul rest in peace.
Stallone’s half-brother Michael and wife, visited Haridwar and performed the Shradh accordingly. In order to provide Mukti to his son soul, the family reached out to Prateek Mishrapur, an astrologer who made them understand the divine effect of Shradh on the departed souls.
In our meeting last year in LA, he (Sylvester Stallone) asked if it is possible to speak to his son. I told him it is possible, but it would be very painful for Sage’s soul. He confessed that he had seen his son and that he was deeply disturbed. After checking with the Panchang (sacred calendar), I told him of the date and time when the rituals should be done. He had plans to come here himself, but had to drop them. He then asked his brother to visit. This is a ritual that can be performed by only blood relatives. The family had sought to make it a quiet affair and I provided them details of nondescript hotels they could stay at. After the shradh of Sage, Michael also performed a ceremony for his sister Toni Ann, who died aged 48 in 2012,” said Mishrapuri.
