“Hera Pheri” is one of the most loved franchises of Bollywood and fans are eagerly waiting for the third part of the franchise.
While the first movie got released in 2000, the second part was released in 2006 and most probably the third part will release in 2025. The film stars Paresh Rawal, Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty in lead roles and all the three actors have once again come together for the third part.
Recently, Suniel Shetty gave an interview in which he revealed that the opening of “Hera Pheri” at the box-office was a disaster, the first two shows were completely flat (zero). The actor further said that they all were laughing a lot while shooting and they all were confident that the movie will be a blockbuster because it had an ensemble cast which also included Om Puri and Tabu and the comic timing of Paresh and Akshay was just great.
Suniel Shetty said that the collections started picking up after 6 pm and it was the same for JP Dutta directed “Border” which was called a documentary movie by many critics. Suniel Shetty added that “Border” is also one of the biggest hits of the Indian film industry and sometimes the movie in which actors and crew believe the most gets late reaction.
While the first part, “Hera Pheri” was directed by Priyadarshan, the second part, “Phir Hera Pheri” was directed by Neeraj Vora and as per the reports, the director of the third part will be Farhad Samji.
When Suniel Shetty was asked about his experience of working with Priyadarshan, he said that the director had good writers like Neeraj Vora who has a great timing and working with him gives an impression that one has gone back to school for higher studies. Suniel further said that Priyadarshan used to work in sync with his cameramen, art director and writers and he never hesitated in taking 10 days for capturing a single scene in perfect light.
