Finally the much awaited movie of the year ‘Sultan’ has released worldwide and has witnessed a bumper opening. Yes, you heard it right! It has managed to get awesome collections on the 1st day, but unfortunately, didn’t meet the predictions everyone had made. The overall occupancy was 85 percent which is definitely the best in this year.
The movie released on 4000 screens in India and is continuing its glorious run. Everyone has been predicting that ‘Sultan’ would cross 40 crores! Yes, the movie has managed to collect just 36.54 crores which is disappointing. People were expecting that this Salman Khan starrer would break all records and definitely cross 40 crores. Moreover, we hope that there would be a boost in the collections today as it is again a holiday. We wouldn’t be surprised. However, Sultan lags behind when we see the 1st day collections of these movies!
