A couple of days ago, a right-wing troll made Priyanka Chaturvedi, Congress spokesperson, target by tweeting that she should be raped and brutally killed like Nirbhaya, adding that she should become the live in partner of Rahul Gandhi.
“You should be raped and brutally killed like Nirbhaya. Madam why don’t you become Rahul Gandhi’s live in partner. Ha ha ha.”
This act was highly condemned by Twitterians and the incident was immediately reported to Mumbai Police after which Rajiv Agarwal, the user who posted the offensive tweet, deleted his account. Undoubtedly, his tweet fanned the flames of growing threat of right-wing users’ online trolling and Twitter fiercely reacted over the matter.
There have not been many days since this happened and once again, it was reignited by a tweet made by a BJP supporter Shefali Vaidya in a taunting style!
This time, Priyanka Chaturvedi didn’t ignore it and targeted Smriti Irani over Z security!
And guess who joined the conversation, Union HRD Minister Smriti Irani, saying she doesn’t have Z security:
To which Priyanka said that she read in newspapers about Z security being given to Smriti and that she is unaware of the internal workings of Home Ministry. She then confirmed about security from her:
And this made Smriti angry:
When Smriti asked Priyanka whether she is planning something about her, Priyanka said that she doesn’t have time for that and Smriti must focus on creating chaos in some other campus.
And Union HRD Minister said that it’s Rahul’s forte while reminding Priyanka of Assam.
And here comes a kickass reply from Congress spokesperson!
It will be interesting to see if Smriti gives any reply to this tweet of Priyanka!
