The Indian cricketers and the Indian fans are in celebration mode as the Indian team has won the T20 World Cup 2024 after defeating South Africa in the final match which was played on 29th June 2024 at Kensington Oval, Barbados.
Whenever we will talk about this match, it is highly impossible that we miss to talk about the catch of David Miller which was taken by Suryakumar Yadav as it was one of the most exceptional catches that we have seen on the cricket field.
During an interaction when Suryakumar Yadav was asked about the match, he talked about the enthralling speech that was given by the Indian skipper Rohit Sharma before the final match. As per SKY, Hitman said that he won’t be able to climb up that mountain alone, he will need everyone’s oxygen. Rohit Sharma said to everyone that whatever they have in their legs, heart and mind, they should bring it to the game because if this happens, they won’t regret the night. Suryakumar Yadav said that they all were moved after this speech by Rohit Sharma.
Suryakumar further said that the former head coach Rahul Dravid also showed a slide presentation. SKY said that it showed the number of T20I matches played by the current squad, from the senior most member to the junior most member and the total came to 800 plus and the other graph showed the total number of T20I matches played by the coaching staff including Rahul Dravid and it was just one match.
SKY said that Rahul Dravid told the players that they are the best judge to make the right call at the right time and they should leave everything to them (coaching staff) and enjoy their game.
SKY said that after seeing the presentation, they all realised that they have to rise to the occasion.
