Invasive real estate growth and rampant urbanisation are definitely going to destroy the ecosystem of Bengaluru, says a study by Indian Institute of Science. As per numbers, a 525 percent growth is seen in the built up area since the last 40 years and it has corresponded to a 78 percent decline in vegetation. Even the water bodies have been declined to a great extent.
