Recently, Tanmay Bhat, the founder of All India Bakchod, received a lot of backlash because he posted a meme of PM Modi with dog filter. This didn’t go down well with Modi supporters, as they considered it to be an insult. In no time, the topic became controversial and social media platforms were filled with tweets, both in favor of him as well as against him.
The supporters were so hurt by this dog-faced meme that they even asked police to lodge FIR against Tanmay Bhat.
He deleted the post, but here’s the snapshot in case you missed.
Tanmay was very hurt and clarified that it was just a joke. He said, “PS: Will continue making jokes. And deleting if necessary. And making jokes again. And Apologizing if necessary. Don’t care what you think.”
When people realized that the controversy has taken an ugly turn, they started taking a dig at the trolls. One of them was Shashi Tharoor, the Congress leader.
He took the dog filter challenge and tweeted;
Attn all trolls: I took the #DogFilter challenge! @AllIndiaBakchod pic.twitter.com/0lmClCS7CF

He posted his own pic with dog filter and it was obviously a sarcastic dig at Modi supporters. Here’s the pic if the tweet is not loading.
The tweet read, “Attn all trolls: I took the #DogFilter challenge! @AllIndiaBakchod”
And after seeing his post, here’s how people responded…

Whenever something is posted against the PM, it is considered to be disrespect. Where’s freedom of speech? Is freedom of speech only applicable while making Congress memes? Manmohan Singh was also our PM, why this respect was not applicable for him? Both are PMs, both deserve equal respect!
Think twice before you comment next time!
