The virtual semifinal clash between Bangladesh and Sri Lanka on Friday turned ugly due to unruly behavior of Bangladeshi players.
Looks as if the players couldn’t control their emotions at all. In over 19.2 over, when umpire didn’t give no-ball, Shakib Al Hasan told other batsmen to stop playing and come back.

Even Nurul Hasan joined Shakib; today, ICC took strict action against both the players. They were fined 25 percent of their match fees and were also given 1 demerit point for breaching level 1 of ICC code of Conduct.
However, Shakib Hasan has something else to say on this. The cricketer says that he wasn’t calling them back but was instead asking them to play.
He said,
“I wasn’t calling them back. I was telling them to play. We are all humans and making mistakes is in our nature. We should take it on our chin and move forward. We always had healthy competition on the ground, but outside, we are friends. Emotions take over, I need to be careful as a leader of a team, I will be careful next time.”

Do you think Shakib wasn’t calling them back? We would like to know your opinion on the same.
