Former Pakistani cricketer Shahid Afridi has hit the headlines as he touched the Kashmir matter on Twitter.
Afridi who is also known for his social causes raised his voice against the recent bloodshed in Kashmir. He took to Twitter and wrote-
Appalling and worrisome situation ongoing in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.Innocents being shot down by oppressive regime to clamp voice of self determination & independence. Wonder where is the @UN & other int bodies & why aren’t they making efforts to stop this bloodshed?

Shahid Afridi is highly regarded by Indians for his humble and down to earth attitude. However, this time he got badly trolled by Indians on the microblogging site. Many Indian followers corrected him for using the word ‘Indian Occupied Kashmir’. Some also suggested him to check the problems in Pakistan first. Check out some of the reactions-
