Gurmehar Kaur (20), daughter of a martyr soldier, has been in news lately for her online campaign against Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad and she has got a supporter in the form of Indian cricketer Gautam Gambhir.
The young student of DU has been trolled by many sportspersons and celebrities after she posted a video last year.

The video depicts her painful story and talks about peace between India and Pakistan.
Gambhir has shown his support for Kaur by posting a video on Twitter with caption, “The freedom of expression is absolute and equal for all! High time we learnt that and practised it daily in every sphere of life.”

Through this video, the left-handed batsman wants to say that everyone has the equal right of freedom of expression and Indians should now become habitual of it.
Gurmehar was threatened when she started the campaign against ABVP. Later, she withdrew herself from the campaign and asked people to leave her alone.
