The billionaire that he is, is been proved by the action that he took. Prince Alwaleed bin Talal has pledged his entire $32-billion fortune to charitable projects over the coming years.
The prince said in a statement that the “philanthropic pledge will help build bridges to foster cultural understanding, develop communities, empower women, enable youth, provide vital disaster relief and create a more tolerant and accepting world.”
Further he added, the donation “will be allocated according to a well-devised plan throughout the coming years.And, this is very much separate from my ownership in Kingdom Holding.”
Prince Alwaleed was inspired by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and that is what urged him to pledge that his entire fortune should be used for charity work. If you don’t know who this Alwaleed is then, let us inform you that he belongs to a Royal family and is the nephew of demise King Abdullah.
