However, many might not know that there was a moment when Salman’s mother had almost selected a different person as her daughter-in-law and it was not Aishwarya.
During the seventh season of Bigg Boss in 2013, Salman Khan welcomed television stars Sanaya Irani and Ashish Sharma to promote their show Rangrasiya, which went on to become a popular TV serial. In a light-hearted conversation, Salman revealed that his mother was a huge fan of Sanaya’s work. He jokingly mentioned that his mother adored Sanaya so much that she had nearly considered her a potential daughter-in-law.
As the conversation continued, Salman humorously asked Sanaya if she had “done it” before, which left everyone in the studio in laughter. Sanaya asked for clarification and Salman explained that he meant acting on television. She confirmed her acting experience and Salman reiterated how much his mother loved watching her on screen.
