India defeated Sri Lanka in the 2nd T20 yesterday at Holkar Stadium. Rohit Sharma was undoubtedly the star of the match as he displayed an amazing performance.
Rohit broke a big record as he became the first Indian to score the fastest 100 in T20 format. Well, he smashed a century at just 35 balls and made the atmosphere lively and entertaining.
Fans were amazed by Rohit’s show of sixes and fours. His 100 consisted of 8 sixes and 11 boundaries; it was a pleasure watching him make India proud!
Unfortunately, Rohit got out at 118 in the 13th over; however, what won our hearts was his signal to Ravi Shastri. After Rohit was out, Shastri asked him as to who should he send next. Without thinking a bit, he showed the wicketkeeper sign and asked him to send Dhoni at no.3
Twitter was in awe of his gesture and they appreciated the fact that Rohit still hasn’t forgotten Dhoni’s contribution in making him the opener. In fact, Twitter loved the decision that he chose Dhoni, as he hit 2 fours and 2 sixes. A video is going viral on the internet and it was indeed the best moment of the match.
