The TV actress and judge Archana Puran Singh recently delighted her fans with a nostalgic vlog on her YouTube channel, capturing a day spent with her close friends Ranvir Shorey and Vinay Pathak and her husband Parmeet Sethi. The group revisited some of Mumbai’s most cherished landmarks, including Juhu Beach and Prithvi Café, reminiscing about their early days in the entertainment industry and the struggles that shaped their journeys.
As they shared memories, Archana asked Ranvir and Vinay about the challenges they faced during their initial years. Ranvir Shorey opened up about the difficulties he encountered, recalling how his family had to give up their home when his father sold it to fund a film. Despite this major setback, he reflected that they never had to face extreme deprivation. While living in rented accommodations, they still managed to enjoy good meals and never had to go hungry.
Vinay Pathak also shared his perspective, recalling times when finances were tight, yet they always found a way to manage. Though there were difficult days, he noted that they never reached a point of complete scarcity. There was always something available to keep them going, ensuring they never had to endure prolonged hardship.
On the professional front, Vinay Pathak was last seen in the film Aliya Basu Gayab Hai, alongside Raima Sen and Salim Diwan. He also played a role in Disney+ Hotstar’s series Life Hill Gayi, featuring Divyenndu, Kusha Kapila and Mukti Mohan. Ranvir Shorey recently appeared in the web series Shekhar Home, along with Kay Kay Menon, Dibyendu Bhattacharya, Kriti Kulhari and Rasika Dugal.
Archana Puran Singh, known for her vibrant screen presence, was last seen in Vicky Aur Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video starring Triptii Dimri and Rajkummar Rao. She is set to return to television with Kapil Sharma’s much-awaited comedy show, The Great India Kapil Show, which is scheduled to premiere on an OTT platform this year.
