Wait a minute, did Rahul Gandhi just show his respect for one of the most feared terrorists in the world by calling him “Masood Azhar Ji”? Or was it the Congress taking a jibe at BJP?
For days after the Pulwama attack, the Congress has been accusing the BJP of being the party that freed the terrorist by giving in to the demands of hijackers back in 1999.
At an event recently, Rahul Gandhi brought it up again. He started by referring to the militant group, Jaish-e-Mohammed, who were responsible for carrying out the attack on the CRPF jawans.
He said that under the previous government which belonged to the “56-inch people”,, Ajit Doval had himself flown in in an aircraft with “Masood Azhar Ji” in order to hand him over.
Now, a lot of people failed to understand the sarcasm hidden behind Rahul Gandhi’s speech, or why he added the “ji” after Azhar’s name. The BJP party leaders soon began to tweet with the hashtag #RahulLovesTerrorists in order to lash out at them.
Ravi Shankar Prasad tweeted,
