Love is very unpredictable; it’s beyond your control and can happen anytime and with any person. It is the most beautiful feeling ever and can take you to a magical world.
If you have lost trust in love due to some bad reason, you must read the story of Lalita Benbansi, an acid attack survivor; it will make you regain that lost feeling once again.
Lalita is an acid attack survivor; in 2012, she was involved in a small family quarrel, due to which her cousin attacked her with acid. Her face was completely burnt and for fixing it up, Lalita had to undergo 17 surgeries, can you believe it?
After this episode, poor girl was shattered and didn’t expect any good thing to happen in future, until she received a call from a wrong number. We often get very irritated with wrong numbers, but Lalita says “Thanks” to it because her life was changed for good due to one call.
Lalita said,
“So many surgeries later, too, my face was deformed. In need for change, I moved from Azamgarh to Kalwa in Thane near Mumbai. Miracles do happen—who would have thought an acid attack and 17 surgeries later I would find love. But it happened. And it all started with a wrong number.”
She got a call from Ravi Shankar (An unknown person), but something clicked between them due to which they started talking regularly to know each other. They continued with these conversations for 2 months and then took the decision of getting married.
For Shankar, the acid attack didn’t matter as he was already in love with Lalita’s inner beauty.
The duo got married today and their pics are already melting our heart. Even Vivek Oberoi attended their wedding and gifted them a flat in Thane. Have a look at some pics…

The groom says,
“I liked her from the beginning. I had to only convince my mother to accept my choice. I had to make Lalita believe that she too had the right to a better life. Looks are a matter of time. I have seen gorgeous- looking people parting ways after years of marriage. I had always thought I would break the monotony.”
Shankar works as a CCTV operator in Kandivali, Mumbai and also owns a petrol pump in Ranchi. They haven’t decided on where they’ll settle down Mumbai or Ranchi.
It’s good that Shankar changed Lalita’s life and gave her a fresh start; he made her believe in love once again and she’s indeed lucky. What do you have to say about this fairy tale?
