After ‘Udta Punjab’, the Anurag Kashyap movie, it was time for the most awaited movie ‘Sultan’ to be targeted by the piracy organizations. Yes, you heard it right! This Anushka Sharma-Salman Khan starrer is leaked online.
Unfortunately, the movie was leaked just 1 day before the official release. Deep Shankar, the cyber crime expert confirmed this news. He said that the movie was available on Darknet and soon it could be accessed on torrent too.
Even Kishlay Chaudhary, the Crime investigator stated that this 2 hours and 36 minutes movie was available online. Various screenshots were shared too. He added “Many websites have been blocked since Tuesday evening and links are removed immediately after uploads,”
However, these claims have been denied by Yash Raj Films. Some experts say that there aren’t any active links to this movie and that it was nothing more than a morphed trailer which was circulated all over.
Even ‘Great Grand Masti’, the Indra Kumar film, starring Urvashi Rautela, Riteish Deshmukh, Aftab Shivdasani and Vivek Oberoi, faced the brunt of online leak. The censor board copy of this film was leaked and circulated on social media 3 days before the official release.
Now, the management of this movie is working hard for removing those copies, tweets, facebook links etc. As of now , the makers of the movie haven’t filed any formal complaints.
