No doubt, the online world offers us lots of benefits, but at the same time we can’t deny the fact that it is equally dangerous too. Hacking has become a common activity these days, thereby risking security to a great extent. Few weeks back we saw how Rahul Gandhi and INC’s official Twitter handle was hacked by group Legion and how they left a series of abusive tweets.
One more incident has come to light and this time, the target is NSG’s official website. Today morning, the National Security Guard’s official website www.Nsg.Gov.In was hacked; the hacker group was “Alone Injector”. On the home page, there were loads of abuses and vulgar messages for PM Modi. There was also a picture of police beating civilians and a phrase “Free Kashmir”, which in short meant they are demanding Kashmir.
It is suspected these group of hackers are from Pakistan because there were references of ISI in the text and also some slogans that praised the country.
Here’s the close-up shot of the message to PM Modi;
One of the messages read “1965 yaad hai na? So jao beta, so jao warna ISI aa jayega.” The hackers brutally abused Modi and also ridiculed him for no proof of surgical strikes. They also wrote “Pakistan Zindabad” which clearly indicates that the group is from Pakistan.
Then, there was also a picture, in which the hackers tried to depict the brutality against civilians in Kashmir;
The message read;
“Do you Know Why You Got Hacked?
Free Kashmir – Freedom is our goal
*Indian Penal Code Acr No. 45 of 1860) CHAPTER-II SEC 18. India – India means the territory of India excluding the State of Jammu and Kashmir*
This institutionalized impurity with which the killings of civilians by military and police forces in Jammu and Kashmir continues should be a source of shame for India which propagates to be a democracy!
Kashmir does not want militarized governance – STOP killing children, raping women and imprisoning the men!
They just want freedom. Freedom from the evil of the Indian Military!
As soon as this hack was noticed, authorities took the website offline. Thankfully, the hackers didn’t hack the entire website; other pages and links remained intact. They just replaced the home page.
We really wonder as to what action PM Modi will take. He has an aim of digital India, but how far would he be able to take it with such incidents? Some strict measures are needed; this is very risky because sensitive information is being leaked which is not at all good for the country.
