Nargis Fakhri, the American model and actress who has worked in the Hindi movies as well, is certainly one of the hottest actresses of the industry. Though she has a good fan base, still she hasn’t achieved much success in her movie career and in the early days of her career, she used to make headlines mostly because of the rumours of her affairs.
Nargis Fakhri made her Bollywood debut in 2011 with Imtiaz Ali directed “Rockstar” in which she played the female lead opposite Ranbir Kapoor. In a recent interview, Nargis Fakhri talked about the rumours of her link-ups with actors Ranbir Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor.
She stated that there was a time when her name was associated with every other person of the industry and she went mad because of it. She further said that once there was an article which read that she (Nargis) has moved in with Shahid Kapoor and her mother has come to meet her. Nargis added that she started getting messages from people, asking if her mother was in the town but in reality, her mother never came here and after some time, she got used to of such rumours.
Nargis further said that once a reporter asked her about enjoying with Bollywood stars and she (reporter) asked in a manner as if she was trying to hint at something. In response, Nargis said to that reporter that she is waiting for her (reporter) to declare the actress as a lesbian. The reporter walked off embarrassed at that time but later on things turned difficult for her as this became the headline.
Nargis also talked about the hatred she received because of the language barrier, she said that earlier she used to think people are very harsh on her but now she doesn’t think so because now she has understood that in this business, what happens behind the camera doesn’t hold any importance for people. She said that it doesn’t matter how much she works hard but people will judge her only on the basis of end-project.
Nargis Fakhri is happy that not everyone judges in this manner as she has a good number of fans who love her as well.
