MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings is going pretty well in the ongoing IPL 2023 as it is on the second spot with 15 points and most certainly, it will enter the play-offs comfortably.
CSK played its last match against Delhi Capitals which the former won by 27 runs but just before the match, an interesting incident took place which left many fans laughing. After the toss when MS Dhoni was returning, the CSK pacer Deepak Chahar said something funny to Mahi and he tried to hit Chahar in a playful manner.

Deepak Chahar has made a comeback in this IPL after a long time as he was injured and he performed pretty well for the franchise in the last match as he took 2 wickets for 28 runs in 3 overs.
As far as the match is concerned, CSK won the toss and decided to bat first on the pitch of their home ground (Chepauk Stadium, Chennai).
Batting first, CSK gave a competitive target of 168 to David Warner-led Delhi Capitals as there were some useful contributions by CSK batters but no one was able to make a big score. However Delhi Capitals was not able to successfully chase the target as the whole team could manage only 140/8 in their stipulated 20 overs.
Ravindra Jadeja was adjudged as the Player of the Match as he scored 21 useful runs and also took a wicket in his 4 overs and conceded only 19 runs.
