When rejection hits you, it inspires you to lead the path of success. As India’s PM Narendra Modi celebrated his 66th birthday recently, we share you an amazing story of how rejection led him to become the successful and inspiring politician of India.
Narendra Modi has become a role model for the young generation, and our PM is inspired by Swami Vivekananda and the inspiration was to such a great extent, that he wanted to become a monk.
From Spiritual Path to PM of the Nation
At the age of 16, Modi visited Swami Atmasthananda in the year 1966. However, Swamiji found Modi had the potential of becoming a leader and advised him to stay away from seclusion. This made Modi avoid going to the spiritual path and joined Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).
The PM who wanted to be the Monk
Subirananda Maharaj, the assistant secretary of the Math, said,
“Modi had a special bonding with Swamiji and treats him like a guru.”
Recently, Modi visited the 97 years old Swami, as he wasn’t keeping well. Had Modi not listened to swami, India wouldn’t have got the inspiring PM.
