Not only their weddings attracted lots and lots of money, but their wedding cards took lots of thought and also time for design. Wedding of a celebrity was never a low key affair and a short glimpse can be seen through their wedding cards.
1. The speculation of Shahid Mira’s wedding came to an end, with introduction of their beautiful and lavish wedding card. The wedding card was designed by Delhi based designer, Ravish Kapoor. There was a wonderful, clean and neatly designed box, under which the classy golden and white card was kept. Along with this, you can see four parchment box around the card, which contained infused tea in each, specially made by tea sommelier Anamika Singh.
2. The Hyderabadi princess, Dia Mirza married Sahil Sangha, a charming prince. The wedding was not such a huge affair, in fact they tried to keep it simple as much as possible. You could probably take a glimpse of the subtle marriage through their wedding card. But we liked something simple!
3. Being the sister of Sallu bhai, wedding of Arpita Khan created buzz all over internet and soon became a ragging story here. The invitation was not so different, but it had white, and pink roses on the card. In short, the card had large floral prints on it.

5. Marriage of Esha Deol and business man, Bharat Takhtani was a complete star-studded affair. Their wedding card was splendid like both the couples and was placed in a crisp white and golden box.
6. When vivek oberoi choose to opt for arrange marriage, it was a shock. But yes, it is a arranged marriage and he tied a knot to renowned dancer, Priyanka Alva. It is believed that this is the most expensive wedding cards till now that had precious and semi precious stones studded in it. It also had crushed gemstones and real diamonds in it. The first compartment was filled with chocolate, while other had separate cards for Mehendi, wedding etc etc.
7. Imran Khan married his childhood friend and their wedding card was so much than creativity and awesomeness. The card contained two black and silver boxes that had 2011 written on them in words. One of the boxes contained customized chocolates in them. The other one had a planner diary, potpourri fragrance, and a pinwheel in it. The wedding details were printed on a yellow paper that was attached to the pinwheel.

8. Delhi’s famous Entertainment Design company was responsible for designing the wedding card of Genelia and Ritesh Deshmukh. The card was accompanied with hand made chocolates, which had initials of couples written on them. The wooden box had three different inserts with details of different function written on them. The box also had initials of couple embossed in them.
9. The much talked marriage of Shilpa and Raj Kundra, has to be a grand affair. Most of the expectations were glued with their wedding card, and it looked magnificent. The invitation card had golden and red theme everywhere, and card was accompanied with handmade chocolate.
10. The most confidential marriage of two big shots – Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan was the most talked in the nation. The wedding card was sent in three golden boxes that had initials imprinted on it. Also, there was Swiss chocolates, idol of Ganesha and the invite inside the box.
11. The close-knit family affair of the Nawab family managed to garner interest among the masses despite the absence of the expected publicity. The wedding invitation of this royal couple was simple, yet elegant with the Pataudi emblem adorning it’s top.
