On Wednesday late night, excessive fuss took place at Delhi’s India Gate when a Lamborghini that was being driven too fast crashed into park’s asphalt road. The constable on duty saw the whole thing happening and reported that its driver escaped due to the popping out of airbags.
According to the cop, driver left Lamborghini, fleeing from the place where the accident occurred.
Additionally, under Section 279 of the IPC, Tilak Marg police station registered the case of rash driving. Moreover, officials began seeking out the person who was driving the car. The case had been registered on the complaint of Tejpal, constable on duty.
In the words of the police official, “Tejpal claimed he saw the yellow Lamborghini, which was being driven carelessly and at a high speed, on the Outer Circle of C-Hexagon, Copernicus Marg, around 1.15 am. The car ended up hitting the pavement of a park between Copernicus Marg and Tilak Marg. The driver got down from the car and ran away.”
Bystanders at once reached the location; nevertheless, driver could make it to run from there.
The official added, “A PCR call was made by the police staff and the crime team of the district was also called to examine the spot. The car was later taken to Tilak Marg police station. After registering the case, police started investigation. The car had no number plate at the front or back. However, we found documents inside the car from which the number of the vehicle was found. We also found that the car belongs to a company. Further investigation is on.”
