The fight between Kangana and Hrithik is worsening day by day as both of them are sending legal notices to each other. Even though both of them deny of being in relationship, their romance was quite evident. But do you know Hrithik had proposed Kangana?
It was revealed by Kangana’s good friend that it started as a friendship between both of them. During ‘Kites’ in the year 2009, both were going through a rough patch of life. Hrithik’s marriage was in trouble and his relation with Barbara Mori, the Mexican co-star, wasn’t clicking well. Kangana was also facing many troubles and hence, both became good friends and found solace in each other’s company.
How this closeness began?
Soon when Krrish 3 was in making, Hrithik began convincing Kangana for playing the main role in it, but she denied. Her friend stated that even though the career of Kangana wasn’t shining at that time, she refused Hrithik. She didn’t feel comfortable in the attention Hrithik was showing.
Finally, she said yes after 6 months and got committed after he revealed to her that he and Sussanne, his wife, slept in separate bedrooms. However, it became difficult for Kangana to talk openly about the relationship since the actor had told her that he wasn’t going to divorce Sussane.
Official Proposal
Like others, Kangana when shocked when Hrithik called her and stated about his divorce. She was in Switzerland and the actor was in the United States. She was super excited when Hrithik told her he wants to marry her. Kangana still had doubts and so Hrithik proposed her in Paris.After meeting parents in London, he flew to the French Capital for meeting her. He got a ring along. In December 2013, Hrithik and Sussane split officially and in January 2014 Hrithik asked Kangana to marry her. After lot of assurance, her answer was a ‘YES’.
But it wasn’t as smooth as you thought
In the 1st week of Feb, soon after he started shooting for ‘Bang Bang’, he stopped communicating with her. Then, when Kangana was vacationing in New York, she heard rumors about the actor’s closeness to the movie’s co-star Katrina Kaif. On 14th of February, Kangana confronted him about those rumors. All he wanted to know was if anyone was aware of this engagement. Kangana told him that she had already told the same to her family. He said that she hadn’t understood his intentions.
This is when the actress realized it wasn’t the kind of relationship she wanted. For her, the situation was like the groom ran away before he reached the mandap. Hence, she took the decision of moving on.
