Karan Veer Mehra emerged as the winner of Bigg Boss 18, concluding a thrilling journey of 104 days filled with drama, tasks and intense rivalries. The grand finale, held amidst much fanfare, saw host Salman Khan standing on stage with the top two finalists – Karan and Vivian Dsena. With the spotlight on them, Salman eventually raised Karan’s hand, officially announcing him as the season’s champion to loud cheers from contestants and the audience.
Karan Veer Mehra’s victory, determined by audiences votes, earned him a cash prize of Rs 50 lakh and a stunning golden trophy, designed to reflect the opulence of the Bigg Boss house. With this win, he joins the ranks of recent winners like Munawar Faruqui, MC Stan and Tejasswi Prakash. While Karan claimed the top prize, details of the runner-up reward are yet to be revealed.
The grand finale opened on an emotional note with heartfelt messages from the families of the top six finalists. This was followed by electrifying dance performances by the contestants before the eliminations began. Eisha Singh was the first to exit, securing the sixth spot, followed by Chum Darang. Later, Avinash Mishra’s elimination was announced by film stars Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor, who were present to promote their film “Loveyapa”. Rajat Dalal, despite making it to the top three, was the final contestant to bow out before the ultimate showdown between Karan and Vivian.
The glittering finale was graced by several celebrities including Aamir Khan who made his first appearance on the show. Junaid Khan, Khushi Kapoor and Veer Pahariya also added to the star-studded celebrations, making it a night to remember.
