Bollywood had to suffer a lot when an attack on Indian Soldiers in Uri left every Indian baffled. The attack on soldiers was replied with a ban on Pakistani actors, singers, technicians and all other artists. The Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) banned all Pakistani artists until the tie between the two nations becomes normal again.
As a response to the aforesaid ban, various cinema owners in Pakistan banned the release of Bollywood movies all across the country. Letters were issued later to let distributors import Bollywood but all that went in vain initially. Months after the issuing of those letters had stopped, the ban has finally been lifted and Bollywood is about to make a comeback to Pakistan after a gap of few months.
Bollywood returned to Pakistan with Hrithik’s brilliant flick Kaabil releasing on Wednesday night. The news was confirmed by the film producer Rakesh Roshan at first through his twitter handle. This is what he had to say about Kaabil’s release across the border.
Yes it's true!
Kaabil releasing tonight in Karachi at 11pm & shows starting tomorrow across Pakistan.— Rakesh Roshan (@RakeshRoshan_N) February 1, 2017
Hrithik Roshan was equally delighted at the release of his movie in Pakistan and felt overwhelmed that his movie became the first one to release after the ban. Kaabil has slowly progressed to give it a tough competition to Shah Rukh’s Raees. Shah Rukh’s Raees is also slated for a release in Pakistan on February 10, a week after the release of Kaabil.
This is what Hrithik had to say about Kaabil’s release in Pakistan!

Kaabil was first screened at the Atrium Cinemas in Karachi at 11pm yesterday. The movie was then released all over the country at 11am today. Bollywood has quite a significant fan base in Pakistan and thus the release of Kaabil before Raees will only help Kaabil improve its collections.
That said, after a long time of exchanging bitter feels, Pakistan has finally turned up with a positive sign. Do let us know your views about this return of Bollywood to Pakistan in our comments section below.
