In the 1890 when Indian folks witnessed the bicycle the first time. Though the import of cycles began in 1905 and continued for about fifty years.
In 1953 government banned the import of the cycles completely. In 1890, price of an imported bicycle was around Rs. 45.
India is the second largest manufacturer of bicycles on the globe.
Global bicycle production is around 130 million units. China makes two out of every three units made globally. That is a huge 66%.
Since bicycles work flawlessly as it is, you would wonder just why we need some crazy modifications. Innovation never ceases, and consequently we’ve received treatment to a wild collection of ideas from giant amphibious contraptions to models.
There are numerous bike designs. Especially in this particular hi techs modern world, bikes are even improved with technical advances.
And what about crazy bike designs. People making even weird and crazy bike designs. Someone spent huge efforts on design, production and publicity for a product that my first ride revealed like the most bogus bicycle ever designed.
Invented in the nineteenth century, the bicycle has changed much following that, there are numerous designers’ wanting to dive in and do exactly that, with amazing concepts.
