Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif starrer “Jagga Jasoos” has been in news for various reasons before its release and now once again after the release, it is in news but for a very sad reason.
On Tuesday, Bidisha Bezbaruah, an Assamese actress and singer, was found dead in her apartment in Gurugram. Cops have arrested her husband on the charges of abetting suicide as Bidisha’s family has alleged that he is having in an extra-marital affair which might have led to this unfortunate incident.
As per cops, Bidisha is a well-known celebrity and has performed many stage shows other than working in movies. Just recently, she shifted to Gurugram from Mumbai and was last seen in “Jagga Jasoos”.
Deepak Saharan, Deputy Commissioner of Police (East) said,
“Bezbaruah was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her rented accommodation which she had taken recently. Her father suspected something foul as she was not picking the phone on Monday evening. He approached the police and gave details of her local address.”
The police broke the door as the main gate and door were locked from inside and when they entered inside, they found Bidisha hanging in a room.
Deepak also said,
“The victim’s father claimed in his complaint that she had a love marriage but would often have quarrels with her husband. We are investigating the case and if required we will call her husband to record his statement.”
Deepak also tells that cops are scrutinizing her chats at social networking sites, Facebook and her mobile records. However, they have not found any suicide note from the spot.
The CM of Assam, Sarbananda Sonowal, has called his counterpart in Haryana, Manohar Lal Khattar, asking him to make sure that a proper investigation is done in the matter.
