The cricket fever is quite high as of now as the T20 World Cup is being played in USA and West Indies and the temperature will soar further as the tournament will proceed because once the league stage will get over, we will get to see the top eight teams contesting against each other.
T20 is undoubtedly the most popular format of cricket at the moment and the International Cricket Council has chosen USA one of the host countries for the T20 World Cup in order to promote the game over there and increase their reach.
Recently, the former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh was seen in New York as he has been selected as the T20 World Cup 2024 Ambassador by the ICC but a New York based vlogger Yi Wang had a problem in identifying the legendary cricketer so he posted a video featuring Yuvraj Singh and asked his followers, “Can someone tell who this is? Apparently very famous in India”.
Soon the video went viral and people started responding to the question asked by Yi Wang and one user wrote, “Michael Jordan of Indian cricket”, another one said something similar as he wrote, “To cricket he was like what Michael Jordan was to basketball. King”.
Some also talked about the six sixes that Yuvi had smashed in the 2007 World Cup in a match between India and England on the bowling of Stuart Broad and there were some who called him warrior as he defeated lethal disease cancer. The IPL franchise Delhi Capitals also reacted to this matter by posting in comments, “Need Six sixes in an over? Call him maybe.”
Here is the post by Yi Wang:
Yuvraj Singh was an Indian all-rounder who played an important role in India’s 2007 T20 World Cup and 2011 World Cup wins. He played many match-winning innings and helped his team in attaining victory in many series and other tournaments.
