PV Sindhu became the first Indian to win Badminton World Championship. On Sunday, the ace badminton player created history by winning the gold medal in the ongoing BWF World Championship in Switzerland.
Sindhu defeated Nozomi Okuhara from Japan in less than 38 minutes with 36 points. The Hydrebadi girl completely dominated the game as she rampaged to a 21-7, 21-7 victory.
The world witnessed PV Sindhu’s finest performance yesterday. Indians are lauding Sindhu for bringing the gold home. Bollywood celebrities, South Indian actors and other Indian notable’s congratulated Sindhu on their twitter account.
