The Indian cricket team has made a clean sweep in Sri Lanka by winning the test series by 3-0 and ODIs by 5-0. Not only this, they also won the only T20 played between both the teams.
However, a little controversy has surrounded the T20 match and that is regarding the toss of the match.
If you look at the start of the match once again, we see that Murali Kartik, the official presenter of the match, introduced the Sri Lankan captain Upal Tharanga, Indian captain Virat Kohli, the match referee Andy Pycroft and Gautam, the toss representative.

The coin was tossed by Upal and Virat called “heads”. Andy confirms that it is tails; however, he also says India after tails which may have confused Kartik and he asks Kohli as to what he plans to do after winning the toss. It seems that Kartik has heard only India and thought India has won the toss; Andy seems to clarify but as everything happened so quickly, he may not have intervened as till then, Virat has already said that his team will field first.

The Indian captain put Sri Lankans to bat first and the host gave a competitive total of 170 at the cost of seven wickets but Indian chased it with the help of brilliant knocks played by Virat (82) and Manish (51).
Nevertheless, one can debate that the result of the match might have been different if Sri Lankans batted second. Well, nothing can be changed now but precaution should be taken by the match presenters from the next time so that such mistakes are not repeated.
