You don’t even have an idea what’s a 5-star hotel is like until and unless you have stayed in one. But I’m sure you have visited a 5-star hotel, maybe at some grand family wedding or some big office celebration. It’s the Indian middle-class dream to be able to afford a vacation at a five star hotel.
When a middle-class person visits a five star hotel, the experience is very overwhelming. After entering the hotel and seeing around, meeting the staff, we are under more pressure to impress everyone around. We might even act rich to prove that we belong there. And there are a variety of things that middle-class people like us do after the starry stay to get full paisa vasool. From munching on unlimited breakfast buffet to using the free soaps, free towels and stuff, our inner Indian never fails to get the value for the price we pay.
