Arsh Bajwa won our hearts in his debut movie “Running Shaadi” co-starring Taapsee Pannu and Amit Sadh; although he’s a newbie actor, who doesn’t belong to a star family, one thing which we would like to say about Arsh is that he’s a deserving champion. His character of Cyberjeet Singh, a messy computer geek, had got a lot of appreciation from everyone.
Be it his performance or be it his dedication, Arsh is just the best and has the capability of giving tough competition to any big star. Coming from a small farmer family from Jalandhar, Arsh truly believes in the saying, “If you have the passion, you can achieve any damn thing”. The actor failed in many tests and had a tough time during auditions, but still, he bagged the role because he was passionate about it. It was Arsh’s hard work that paid off well.
You must have seen many fat to fit transformations, but this transformation of Arsh i.e. from fit to fat will make you salute him. Well, Arsh had the guts to do so and the only intention was to do justice to his role of a techie in “Running Shaadi”. The director had made it clear in the start itself that if he wants to essay this role, he will have to gain weight.
Without thinking even a bit about his well toned physique, Arsh gave a green signal. If you don’t believe us, let’s show you some before and after pics; you’ll surely be jealous of his physique. Earlier, he was 62 kgs and after a lot of efforts, he put on and reached 79 kgs.
Here are his before pics…

For this role, Arsh gained 17 kgs in 3.5 months and had to grow his beard too; want to check out the pics of his makeover?
Here you go…
See the drastic difference;
If you are still thinking that all this is artificial, you are completely wrong; Arsh actually grew his beard because he believed in a natural look. Since the actor wanted to bring that feel, he worked very hard on his appearance. In the weight gain process, Arsh was asked to eat anything and everything he liked (Junk food), because the only purpose was to increase calories.
Arsh even took to Facebook to show the difference; have a look at his Facebook post;
However, one sad thing is that currently, he’s struggling a lot to bring his weight to normal i.e. 62 kgs. After the movie, Arsh has been put on a strict diet and is not allowed to consume anything except boiled eggs and chicken breast. Not only this, he also hits the gym for almost 4 hours a day because he’s missing his 4 pack abs.
He should get the appreciation he deserves!
We would like to highlight something here. When Aamir Khan lost and gained weight for Dangal, did you notice how the media covered it? There was not a single media house who missed his transformation. Why wasn’t the same treatment given to Arsh? Even though he’s a newbie, shouldn’t we appreciate his efforts? Arsh doesn’t belong to the “Khan” clan, but as an actor, he did his best and it’s definitely worth an applaud. We feel that media should cover the talent of these new actors too and give them due recognition.
As a responsible media house, RVCJ found his transformation to be very inspirational. We wish him all the best for his career…
