One thing that comes to mind on International Tiger’s Day is Tiger Shroff, isn’t it? However, have you ever wondered why his name is Tiger? Some people think he was named so because of his love for tigers.
But wait, the reason is something else! Well, he has the answer to this and he thought International Tiger’s Day would be the perfect occasion to share the reason with everyone. In an interview, junior Shroff said “I got the name Tiger because I used to bite and scratch people as a child.”
Tiger Shroff prides himself for the name and says that in the place where he studied, there were no other Tigers (Students sharing the same name); it is obvious because the name is very uncommon. He adds
“There was no other Tiger in school so everyone thought my name was cool. I hope that I can take my career to the heights that other successful Tigers like golfer Tigers Woods and cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi did.”
We are sure you are pretty surprised to hear the reason! Well, Twitterati is equally surprised and as soon as a user named Rohan tweeted the image of that newspaper article which highlighted the reason behind his name being ‘Tiger’, hilarious responses started coming in. Have a look..

Many of you aren’t aware, that the actor had adopted a tigress named ‘Lee’ during the promotions of ‘Heropanti’ in Nagpur. Tiger Shroff does every small thing he can, such as paying for Lee’s food and ensuring that she is well taken care of, even though he can’t go to visit her often due to his busy schedule.
Moreover, he also wrote a letter to PETA India and Minister of State, Environment, Forest and Climate Change, Anil Dave and urged them to protect tigers. So what do you have to say about this guys? Do let us know your thoughts in the comments section below!
