Arjun Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor starrer “Half Girlfriend” is slated to release on 19th May and the star cast is busy promoting the movie on various shows and events.
Just recently, Shraddha along with Arjun and writer Chetan Bhagat appeared on “The Kapil Sharma Show” to promote their film but something unpleasant happened on the sets which aggravated Shraddha. The reality comedy show and its cast have been making headlines for a long time now, unfortunately for all the wrong reasons, and this time again, a comedian from the show irked Shraddha and hurt her sentiments.
Any guesses who the comedian is?
Well, it’s none other than the actress-comedian Sumona Chakravarti.
While making a joke on Kapil Sharma’s boyfriend skills, Sumona took the name of Shraddha’s father and veteran actor Shakti Kapoor. Quite naturally, this did not go well with Shraddha and she gestured towards Sumona in a questioning manner; however, Sumona changed the topic very cleverly but the damage was done. Shraddha’s uneasiness was apparently visible all the time when Sumona was on the stage but Arjun seemed to enjoy a lot at that time.
Directed by Mohit Suri, “Half Girlfriend” is said to be a romantic comedy and is based on the novel of the same name written by Chetan Bhagat.
Well, this is not for the first time that any celebrity has been displeased on the sets of TKSS. After the ugly spat between Kapil and Sunil Grover, the comedy king and his team had to make enormous efforts to bring the show back on the track and once again, an actress had an unpleasant experience on the show. If this continues, it won’t be good for “The Kapil Sharma Show” which is already going through a bad phase. What do you have to say about it?
