Sridevi’s sudden death on 24th February left the entire film industry and fans sad. She died in the room of her Dubai hotel Jumeirah Emirates Towers.
This morning, there were many reports which claimed that she was getting ready for a surprise dinner planned by husband Boney Kapoor. When he knocked the door of the bathroom and didn’t get any response for 15 minutes, he somehow opened it and found her dead in the bathtub.

When the hospital gave a confirmation of her death, the official procedures started. Her body was sent for forensic examination. As per official laws, the following process has to be followed;
• First, the postmortem report is handed over to the police, after which it is investigated.
• After investigating the report, police issues an NOC if nothing suspicious is found.
• It’s on the basis of NOC, that the dead body is handed over
These procedures are going on still, which is why Kapoor family has still not got her body.
Forensic reports are out!
After a long wait, the forensic reports are out & as per the Gulf News, the reason of Sridevi’s death is “Accidental drowning” and not cardiac arrest. Since yesterday, media was reporting about cardiac arrest, but today, the report has confirmed it to be a case of drowning

Now that the procedures are over, her body would be flown to Mumbai today itself.
