For solving this puzzle, work out on the positioning of the doors. For people in the UK, the bus is travelling to the right, since vehicles are driven on the left side of the road, but in case of the US or other countries where vehicles are driven on the right side of the road, the bus is travelling to the left. While you cannot make out which is the front end or the back end, the side that faces the viewers has no passenger doors visible. This means that they are on the other side.
This puzzle was seen in the Brain Games TV Series on National Geographic and the company claimed that 80% of children under 10 got the answer very immediately. Meanwhile, adults took longer time for guessing the answer.
As per University College of London research, it is said that this difference in time is owing to the difference in judgements made by adults and children.
Usually, children have a tendency of using the 1st visual clue popping in their head. Even though they seem to get things wrong, they answer quite quickly. However, adults use visual information combined with sensory clues.
So, how much time did you take for solving it?
