There has already been a lot of buzz surrounding the Vaani Kapoor and Ranveer Singh starrer ‘Befikre’, which is all set to hit the screens on the 9th of December. There is just one reason why people are excited about the movie and that is because of its ‘Kissing’ element.
The 1st song of Befikre, ‘Labon Ka Karobaar’ was filled with over 27 kissing scenes between homosexuals, seniors and youngsters, and this definitely raised loads of questions. Due to all this, there is a possibility of the movie facing some serious trouble from Censor Board!
Until now, YRF was pretty chilled out with all this, but now reports say that CBFC is all set to chop off several portions from the song as well as the movie. Board members have been in constant discussions with regards to the length and quantity of kisses.
There are also discussions about how the movie can be given a green flag with so many kisses, when ‘Tamasha’ was in problem just for 2 lip locks.
Now, amidst all such talks , Pahlaj Nihalani, the chief of Censor Board said that he had no control over the release of ‘Labon Ka Karobaar’ on the internet. Since it has not yet come for approval and has directly been released on the internet, it is beyond his purview.
Also, talking about the kisses, he said that since ‘Befikre’ is set in a modern city like Paris, these things don’t matter, as they are well accepted there. Further, Mr. Nihalani said that he would surely monitor the content of the movie.
